|Rescue Me ID: 16-10-10-00565Marty (male)|
Marty is a 6 month old kitten in excellent health. Born in the shrubs at a Hobby Lobby, he was fed daily until he was trapped at 4 months and neutered. He may take several days to feel secure around you but will be a love bunny once he knows you! Love, Love, Love - he loves to be pet all over - belly and feet too! Marty needs a loving home with another kitten to play with and keep him company!

|Rescue Me ID: 16-07-28-00586Sonmi Tacoma Brandon (female)|
Sonmi is the daughter of one of my cats. I'm actually homeless and am trying to find someone to foster my three cats until I move into my own place in September. I have three cats who've all been raised together. I will sign a contract saying I'll cover food and litter in exchange for the animals to be properly sheltered and taken care of. Routine picture updates sent via text would also be mandatory so I know my animals are doing well if I'm unable to come visit them since I currently rely on MARTA and have a variable work schedule. So, about my three cats: The baby is Sonmi. She'd be a little over a year old now. She's very playful and can be hard to tame by she doesn't bite. She is perfectly litter-trained. Her mother is Brandon who is over two years old now. Brandon is skittish and scared and will probably spend a lot of time hiding but eventually, if you are calm and quiet, he will come out to sit by you. He doesn't bite or scratch unless threatened. Tacoma is the third cat. I adopted him from a fairly shady rescue group called 'Ginny Milner Pet Rescue.' I hadn't known about the shadiness of the group until I found out one of the women who handles most of the adoptions is holding more than 25 cats in her much too small basement. Tacoma is a grey and white tabby and he is the friendliest cat in the world. He doesn't bite or scratch but he will follow you around and beg for attention like no other. Of the three cats, he's the most docile and best with kids and dogs. It takes Sonmi a while to warm up to dogs but she eventually comes around. Brandon will not warm up to a dog. Sonmi and Tacoma also get along better with large breed dogs. The only thing of concern would be Tacoma's behaviour around new cats. He's very territorial and may pee to mark his territory despite being fixed. He considers himself the leader of the three cats. I'd rather not separate my beloved animals. I'm worried about them right now because they're in the care of a woman who has proven to be cruel and nasty. She has agreed to allow me to get my cats back, thankfully, but has refused to update me on their well being the entire time they have been in her care. It's been hard to find fostering for my animals while homeless and I'm very, very reluctant to give them up because I am so close to success and stability. Also, again, I'd hate to separate them. If ANYONE can assist in any way, please contact me at your convenience. If I don't answer right away, please leave a voice mail and I'll contact you back after work. This is a desperate situation. - Alec (Less)
