Rescue Me ID: 16-05-04-00051Jack/Speedbump (male)

Bombay    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Jack is a cat that I rescued from the side of a highway as a kitten at around two months old, on the last Sunday in June of 2015, while hiking. He is named after the song by Ray charles 'Hit the road, Jack', and the fact that had I not rescued him, he may well have ended up as a speed bump. He is very timid around new people, and will often hide in peculiar spots to stay away. He does not like the sound of frying pans, and will usually run from them. Once he warms up to new people, he is very friendly, prefers to not be picked up, bur does like cuddles, and belly rubs when sitting with a fluffy blanket on a lap. He gets along well with the ... Rescue Me ID: 16-05-04-00050Loki/Derpy Cat (male)

Bombay    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Loki is a 2 year old cat I rescued from a previous place of employment as a kitten. When all other cats ran from people, he just trotted up looking for loving parents. He has a shirt tail because when I rescued him in October of 2014, he had frostbite on his tail, which fell off a couple weeks later. Since he had frostbite, and Loki was the king of the frost giant in Norse mythology, the name seemed fitting. His nickname is Derpy cat, or Derp for short, because he can't jump well due to his shortened tail. He loves all people, is exceptionally cuddly, and even plays fetch with foil balls. He has a mild temperament and is tolerant of most ... (Read More)anything that's happening to him. When clipping his nails he looks like he is enjoying a day at the spa. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-04-00044Tokala/Hissy Fit (female)

Bombay    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Tokala is a 1.5 year old female Bombay who just had her second litter of kittens. Her nickname (which she also answers to) is Hissy Fit because after rescuing her she hissed at everyone but the dog. Since her rescue, she has grown to have a very mild temperament, does not scare easily, is slightly skittish with new people, but only for a few mibutes, and is great with other cats, dogs, and children. Her most predominant feature is the fact that she has an I'm looking eyes that are big and beautiful. When she isn't sleeping, she is usually busy keeping herself clean.
